

Manpreet Singh Ayali is in the forefront of many development initiatives for rural Ludhiana, foremost among them are Tree Plantation, Water Supply, Water Harvesting, Ground Water Recharging, Waste Water Treatment, Drug De-Addiction Programs for youth, Sports Infrastructural Projects etc. He is working in these fields in his capacity as Ex officio Chairman of :
· District Water Supply and sanitation committee
· District Health Planning & Monitoring under National Rural health Mission
· District Rural Development Authority
· District Panchyat under NREGA
He is providing valuable leadership towards the working of these committees. His initiatives has galvanized the entire district administration and also village Panchyat's. Villages are being provided safe water supply on war footing, renovation of village ponds have started to solve the sanitation situation, water harvesting and ground water recharging is been taken care of, creation of sports infrastructure like construction of stadiums and Gyms for the rural youth has become functional, construction of roads and school building up gradation is also been undertaken at an effective level. These projects are being undertaken with active participation of beneficiary community.
He is laying special emphasis on poverty alleviation, creating more employment opportunities, social welfare of deprived and weaker sections of the society and many such issues which can improve the socio-economic condition of the entire region.
He has taken special initiative to plant 10 lac trees every year in the rural areas to mitigate the problem of global warming. Ground water recharging through renovated ponds has also been under taken to arrest the depleting water table.
He is committed to provide basic amenities to the people, safe guard environment and overall welfare of weaker section of the society. This huge task cannot be accomplished by any single individual hence he solicits the active cooperation of every citizen in this noble endeavor.
